POTASSIUM IODATE INDUCED STERILITY IN COPTA MITE (T PUTRESCENTIAE) WHEN GIVEN IN DIET @ 0.25-1.0% CONCN FOR 1-2 WK. FEMALES WERE MORE SUSCEPTIBLE THAN MALES. EGG FORMATION WAS DETRIMENTALLY AFFECTED.

POTASSIUM IODATE INDUCED DEFORMED SPIRACLES IN PUPAE WHEN FED TO SILKWORM LARVAE @ 100 PPM IODINE.
